Does Open Firmware Password work on OS 10.2.x?

Hi everyone,

Does the Open Firmware Password utility from Apple (that puts a password on OF to prevent booting from CDs) work on OS 10.2.x? It says that it works with 10.1 or later, but I'm just not sure.
