I am using my ibook hooked to a dockendz with an external monitor. the problem is that whenever i close the lid on my ibook it puts it to sleep. i want to be able to cl9se the lid and still use the laptop is there any way around this is it a bug with osx? any help would be greatly appreciated..

Its no bug, its just when you close the lid the iBook sleeps, you would have to either:
* Leave the monitor open
* Plug an extrernal monitor + mouse and click when the iBook is sleeping with lid closed. Works for me. Beware iBook may get hot
we don't have time to stop for gas

Thanx for the help. i have a monitor and mouse connected to my ibook. when i close the lid it will stay awake for 20 seconds or so ill move the mouse and it will wake up but then it just continues in that cycle every 20 seconds or so.
