Hmm. IE 5.2.2 works just fine on my main administrator account. However, if I create ANY OTHER TYPE OF ACCOUNT (admin or restricted), it IMMEDIATELY crashes from that new user account after it's launch splash screen. Anybody ever see this, who might also have some useful advice BESIDES suggesting that I switch browsers?

My best guess is that it's a permissions problem. Perhaps some component of IE was set to be unreadable by others.

Try this:
1. Open Disk Utility and ru 'fix permissions'.
2. In the Finder, do a 'Get Info' on IE. Set the permissions to write by owner/group, and read by others. Then copy the permissions to contents.

...THAT didn't work. I guess it doesn't matter much, since I plan on going MS-free the second that Safari goes final...

thanks anyway,
Mark.
