Hello everyone,

I'm wondering if anyone out there is experiencing this problem. Because OS X maintains its own proxy settings, which are allowed to be different from those entered in IE, we tend to encounter many conflicts.

Our users have several location settings in their network pane, each with its own IP and proxy settings. A lot of times, when they have no network access, we need to either delete proxy settings, add them anew, or enter them as IP addresses rather than DNS names. Also, IE has a tendency to not let us check or uncheck "Use web proxy for all" or to modify FTP proxy or secure web proxy.

In Windows, proxy settings are just maintained in IE and nowhere else, which makes life easier.

Does anyone have any suggestions for this problem?

Thanks!
