Hi.

I have to acces a webserver, but I can't. I have tried Transmit and Fetch, but in Transmit I get a -116 error, 'Could not retrive file listing', and in Fetch the little dog just keep on running.

It's a IIS server, and I think the problem may be that the programs uses passive mode, but I have tried to turn that option off, with the same results.

I have used a winPC, and there the ftp client connect, thus telling me that "the server do not use passive mode", or something like that.

What can I do ?

Try using connect to server in the Go menu in the Finder.

Okay, it works now.

I had OS X's firewall turned on - and that was the problem. I turned it off, and now Fetch works.
I can't connect to the server via Finder, for some strange reason. It just keeps saying 'Connecting to ftp://.....'

But, I solved my problem
