I found all those files under /Library/Application Support/forty-two.
There's nothing wrong with just trashing the app and leaving it's preferences and other various files behind (usually.)

If you log in with root password in terminal, and hit ls it shows mplayer as being listed there. Does this mean it is there?

How do I uninstall it? Or is it ment to be there

Forty-two put it there. You can trash it if you like. You don't need to delete it with the terminal, they are all visible files you can drag to the trash with the Finder.
BTW, you didn't need root privileges to see those files in the terminal.
