I used to be able to this.
First I thought Safari was the reason, but in other browsers, the "image"-button isn't working either.

Forum rules say:

but not post attachments is not the same as images, is it?

I've send an email to Macnn, but they do not reply...

Edit: Works for me. surround the url of the img with [img]url[/img] and it works.

Does it work with the image button as wel?

Ok, few things,

1. this isn't the right forum for this
2. eh, the buttons offen don't work, it's not working for me right now.
And 3. Yes I am pritty sure attachments are different from images.

This should probably be in suggestions/comments. Or maybe software forum.

None of the buttons work, at least not for me. Not quotes, not bold, italics, image, etc. I have to hand code.

It's been that way for a LONG while and for some reason the MacNN folks won't fix it. So clicking vB link on the reply page and study the tags as it doesn't seem like MacNN will fix the issue anytime soon.
