if I dont want an application, what do I have to do to erase it.
IN OS 9 WAS EASY... now what???

Same. Drag it to the trash. Empty the trash. There might be a 4k preference file for the app in /users/[username]/preferences.

if I use the finder to get all the files of the application, and put in on the trash can, it will work??

Also might want to check the ~/Library/App Support folder just to see if there was anything placed there.
But if you're using the 'Find' feature, you should be able to remove items just as easily as in OS 9.

A lot of people seem to complain about the fact that OS X doesn't have an uninstall utility like Windows does - well, let me tell you something: the Windows utility doesn't work. Almost every time I try to uninstall a Windows program using the Add/Remove Programs utility, I get an error message stating "Some files could not be removed. They can be removed manually." If I manage to locate these files, when I try to delete them manually I usually get another error message. This is much worse than OS X, where you can uninstall most programs just by dragging them to the trash, and even if that does leave a few files behind, they are easier to find and easier to delete than on Windows.
