When I double click on a stuffit file it keeps opening up StuffIt Deluxe and not StuffIt Expander. How do I change this so it opens up Expander when I dbl-click?

Thanks!

Right (or control) click on the .sit file in question. Now hold down the option key and the "Open With" menu changes to "Always Open With". Choose StuffIt Expander and now all .sit files will open with it instead of Deluxe.

It doesn't seem to do it for all SIT files, just that one. It's still saying "(Default)" on Deluxe and still opens Deluxe with with the dbl-click action.

Dang. I was hoping that was going to do it.

Any other ideas?

Use File -> "Get Info" in the Finder and expand the "Open with..." item. Once you've selected Stuffit Expander, clicking on "Change all..." should do it.
