There are about 10 services in my service menu, most of which have been installed by applications that don't really make sense as a service (e.g., Quake 1 How can I get rid of these entries? I've checked the /system/library/services folder (nothing) and the ~/library/services folder (nothing). Also, when I drop a new service into my ~/library/services folder, it doesn't show up after relogin. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, drhfk

Yes - the Apps are providing the Services themselves - backup the info.plist within the offending apps and tweak the plists.
