I am using MS Internet Explorer 5.2. The files are supposed to be in a folder called MS Internet Cache but they are in a format which I am not familiar with - .waf . I am a Mac newbie so am used to seeing loads pf individual files in the Windpws Temporary Internet folder.

You can't view the content of the Internet Explorer cache. Just delete the .waf files if you want to get rid of your cache, or even easier do it from IE's prefs.

But you can't just look through what it cached.

Thanks for the information and the link to the WAF reader utility. I'll give that a go!
