I cant MOUNT an EXTERNAL USB 10G HD in X 10.2.4 !!!!, I dont know the brand of this disk, I only have 1 CD with drivers with 2 brands printed in the label: FORMEDIA & PROSOFT....
Have you formatted the external hard drive? Might need to do this with Disk Utility before you can mount it.

yes I did .... (MAC OS EXTENDED) ITS so funny because I just run 9.2 (classic enviroment) in my X10.2.4 and within a program in classic mode I CAN SEE THE DISK IS THERE when I choose save as...!!!!
