Help! Now that I updated my OS to 10.2.5 I see white thin lines on my Desktop picture... but only on some of my jpgs and other formats...

Also when I use Safari and look at photos like wallpapers they too have thin lines in them. But when I open them in Photoshop they are gone...

HELP!!!!

They are thin light vertical lines that goe through my wallpaper or desktop picture. The same happens when I open the photo in Preview or in Graphiconverter...

What are these darn things????

I have an iMac superdrive with 1GB ram and the newest OSX...

Please help...
