just got new hard drive and i want to clone my system(10.1) to new drive to upgrade to jaguar just to be sure nothing goes wrong with my current setup. if all is well on new drive with updated jaguar system then i will clone jaguar system back to original drive as backup. make sense?

alright question is here: carbon copy cloner i got is system requirement 10.2. can i use ccc on my 10.1 system effectively to clone 10.1 to new drive?

i'm just trying to be ultra cautious. any loss to my 10.1 system during upgrade to jaguar would be unacceptable. sorry to be redundant.....

carbon copy cloner will not launch for me. appears in dock for a second then drops away.

any suggestions for cloning disk in a 10.1 system?
