Hi there ...

recently ... i met with a very serious problem ...

so here's what happened :

my elder sister (21 years old) play Apeiron on OS X ... using Classic ...

i know there's a carbon version available ... but i take fore-granted that there won't be anything serious happen ...

i'm wrong ... after she play the game yesterday ... my OS X suddenly became as the screen below :

Even with color ... it looks nothing better than this :

i tried changing the color setting in OS X and also through Classic (Monitor) ... nothing works ...

when i boot to OS 9 ... everything show up beautifully ...

and also ... after i logout OS X ... it looks ok ... but when i login again ... the problem shows up (the color changes) after a delay of 1-2 seconds ... if i login as other user (which i created after the problem) ... the problem also disappear ... i know there's something to do with my account ...

may i know what and how do i change the setting to cure the problem?

Thanks in advance!

sorry ... just noticed that the second picture (with color) looks almost perfectly fine ...

actually ... the color looks very weird on my Mac ... but when view from anything other than my OS X account ... it shows up fine ...

don't take it as a monitor problem ... as it works fine as well on a newly created account in OS X ...

it's probably very much related to Classic ... as you can read from my first post ...

and i think the solution is probably within my account folder ...

anyone know what should i delete or reset? Thanks ...

Have a look at System Preferences -> Displays -> Colors. What ColorSync profile is selected there? Can you restore factory defaults or recalibrate the display?
Nasrudin sat on a river bank when someone shouted to him from the opposite side: "Hey! how do I get across?" "You are across!" Nasrudin shouted back.
