probley a dumb question, but is there a way to uninstall 2.5 without reinstalling the OS and then doing the upgrades up to 2.4, wich i haven't had a problem with?
If you listen to a UNIX shell do you
hear the C?

Sorry, I'm pretty sure you can't. Apple assumes that once you have 10.2.5 you would have no reason to go back to a previous version, and on my computer I have found this to be true.

There is a way to appear to have downgraded from OS X 10.2.5 builds 6L11, 6L14, and 6L20 to Mac OS X 10.2.4 using an downgrader I can post if you wish. Downgrader packages will not revert your system to pre-update
configurations. They remove the appropriate receipt, and change specific system information so that the latest build should install correctly on a previous update.

So not much use to you, sorry but its not possible to actually downgrade your system to a previous state as far as I know.

You can down grade if you want But it aint easy nor risk free.

First you find the 10.2.5 reciept. Open it. Move through the installer untile you choose your install destination and then
there is menu that says show files. You get a long list files that
the installer installed. Copy save that file some where.

Move all the files listed there to some where secure.

Now get the 10.2.4 update go through the same steps until you get
to the list of files for 10.2.4. Extract the files from the installer
using a program like pacifist. And then install each file manually.

Then just restart and hope you did everythinh right.

I actually did this before (10.1.5->10.1.4) and it does work if you
are careful.

Good luck

I don't trust myself that much, and I'm still learning the internal workings of OS X, had it and the dual 1 gig for a couple of months now.

Are you having the kernel panic problem with USB hubs and 10.2.5?
