Ok...I've got a piece of software that I need 9.2 to install with...then once it is installed, I can update it to the OS X version. I haven't had classic on my machine since 10.1.

So...how do I go about installing 9.2, then getting rid of it when I'm done.

Yeah, I know, this is goddamn ridiculous.

Umm...

Boot from 9.2 CD. Install OS. Reboot. Install software. Boot into X. Drag "System Folder" to trash, empty trash.

Or stuff that system folder after you use it and keep it compresssed, so you can pop it back out if you ever need it.

It's 'Teach me how to install Classic'.

Unless English isn't your first language, in which case you're forgiven.

To all. Groovy. I didn't know if there would be some archaic crap I would have to go through. The disk images and stuffit archives are good ideas ++.

And Mr Walker: it's a joke.
