After I installed 10.2.5 I looked in my Apps folder and it looked like this: App Folder
10.2.5 installed a dead copy of Address Book and Image Capture??? Anybody else see this before? I have a feeling it is because I have my Apps folder broken up into separate folders, but I'm not sure.

Also, is it ok to get rid of the Office update install logs, or do i have to keep them on my HD?

It seems that the OSX installers/updaters have zero tolerance for mucking about with the sacrosanct location of the Application folder. I've also noticed that various OSX installers bring back dead wallpapers, or disable them on a whim. I installed a tazl-inside desktop picture back on 10.0.0, and all the updates inbetween (that's right, I've never re-installed/formatted since 10.0.0) seem to do something different with it.

Still, you should see what happens when you try to upgrade from NT4 to Windows 2000 sometime... ::shudder::

The reason will be because you've changed the location of some apps. Software Update isn't particulary good when it comes to users moving around applications which are ment to stay in the Applications folder. Maybe in Pather we'll see an improvement.

Yeh its fine to get rid of installation logs like Office v.X logs from your hard disk. Just trash them.
