every time i open FCE, it crashes. i've even trashed the file and re-installed it, but it still does it.
i would say that 10.2.5 is responsible for the crashes, but i did use the program a day or two after i installed 10.2.5 and it worked. now for the past couple of days it hasn't.
any ideas?

home folder->
library folder ->
preferences folder ->
then, look for a file named along the lines of : "com.apple.finalcutexpress.plist"

Remove that APE stuff. Does it still crash then?

There must by something called APE or Application Enhancer in your Library folder. Move APE out of the Library folder (not just one Haxie) and see if it affects the crash.
Someone with APE installed can tell you better how it is temporarily disabled maybe?

not really... you could try to reset back to defaults, but APE is still installed on the system. You have to trash it, and logout, then try again.
