It's pretty easy, go to google.com and view the source code, it should be easy to find the code for the search box ( even with only a basic knowledge of HTML ), cut and paste that code in the source code of your own startpage. It's a little bit harder to find the code for the searchbox for quicktime movies and versiontracker only because the HTML code is more complex...

PS: I used Omniweb to look at the source because you can cut and paste the source in a new source file directly in Omniweb and you get color coding and formatting which you don't get with safari ( makes it a lot harder to find the code you are looking for )...
