So I've installed X11 and KDE. I also installed Windowmaker so when X11 starts up it looks like I got NeXT running with OSX.

KDE is pretty good but it tends to make OSX freeze up and die. So I want to keep using Windowmaker as my X11 interface. Problem is that most of Windowmaker's links in the applications and other menus don't work because they are linked to apps that don't exist on the computer and don't show up in Fink either.

So here's my question. KDE's file manager doesn't work with WM. What's a good file manager to use with Windowmaker and where can I get it?

midnight commander might be the only one you could use, but i'm no guru.

It's Terminal based, aweful!

Most file managers are tied into the Desktop Enviroment, like Nautilus is to gnome etc.

I didn't say it'd be pretty.
