Hi everyone !
Jaguar just went nuts on me today, after I realized I had less than 300 MB available space on my OS X partition (many apps were running) : I lost almost all my preferences, and now I have a big problem : no matter what I do, I always get an English-language login screen and the keyboard is also set to english at that moment. However, after I log in, everything gets back to normal : the keyboard and the preferred language is set back to french.
Does anyone know what pref file I should trash, or what else I should do for my system to go back to normal behavior ?
Thx a lot
BTW I keep getting a "yylex: ERROR" thing in the console. Anyone knows what that means ?
I can't believe one can get in that much trouble just by not freeing some space on their HD at the right moment
Ok I fixed my problem, thanks to the Apple knowledge base : I had to log in under the root account, go to the International pref pane, and set French as the preferred language.
I hope that can help someone in the future...
This reminds me of some threads I've posted. I post my problem, and then a clue I found, and then finally the solution to my own troubles.... all the while everyone just ignores me! Glad I'm not the only one! :-]
