any word as to when/if we'll see this ported to OS X?

Not worth it, for two reasons.

1) It requires that your Exchange administrators have set up Outlook Web Access and allow you access to your mailbox using it. It basically screen scrapes from OWA, which makes it terribly inefficient.

2) Entourage is going to be updated to support Exchange natively this year, anyway.
