I'm a new X convert/prisoner, so pity me. when classic 9 is needed, an OS 9.2.2 window appears asking for password or cancel for ethernet sharing of other machines on net. Regardless of selection; startup of classic 9 freezes reminescent of extension conflict.
THE WHITE SHADOW OF THE DIALOG BOX RE-APPEARS ON THE DESKTOP WHENEVER CLASSIC IS USED.
I've turned off file sharing in OS IX chooser; deleted all users and groups in OS IX except the owner and guest
I still have the previous system folder on the drive until I"m certain I've got all necessary preferences, bookmarks, etc. moved.
How to get rid of the big blank space(symptom) or the failed network startup attempt(problem) thanks, mike
