I legally own a copy of Black & White for the PC, but now that there is a Mac version can I just download the binaires for the Mac and use the PC data? Will it run? Thanks.

To my knowledge, no. Just as with Return to Castle Wolfenstein for PC, there's no way to get it on the Mac w/o purchasing the seperate Mac version.

There probably is a way to do it. I've gotten Q3, Q2, UT, and others running on Mac and Linux from Windows disks. Assuming the Mac installer doesn't check for something to already be installed, it should work. Although, I haven't tried putting Wolf on the Mac, so I don't know. It does work for Linux, though.

Edit: On the topic of B&W (which I didn't say anything about sorry) I really doubt it would work. Generally it seems to be limited to the games that are across the three big platforms (Mac, Win, Lin) that you need only one disk. Most of those happen to be FPS as well.

Nope - they are two different products (ie. not buying the Mac version and downloading the application isn't legal). Also, you need the CD for the Mac version to run Black & White for the Mac.

YOu might want to call the company and see if they have a "crossgrade" Program of sometype so you can get a discounted CD for the Mac Version.
