Quality was crap for me too (streaming video always is... I'm on a 56k) but what was interesting is that that particular stream had almost no skips or pauses for me, unlike when I try and stream video in Quicktime

Of course, only video I try to stream in Quicktime are Macworld and WWDC (2002) videos, so maybe MSNBC just has more bandwidth (or because this was a less "popular" event than your average Macworld expo?)
