Yeah, there are some funky GUI implementation in this version I think....they must have made the "Browse" button to match the "Play" button in size or something.

I think its Ugly. I loved iTunes 3.
the music sharing is fantastic.
But why the rest?
The old iTunes Buttons were beautiful.
These look like something Microsoft would dream up.
THey're grey and "Lunary"
And the volume slider is crass.

I think the new buttons look nice; they match those on Safari so it feels a little more consistent. I do not like the buttons on the bottom, though, the chiseled-stone look just doesn't work with the glassy buttons on the top of the window.

Thing were consistent. Aqua should have round glass buttons, not flat plastic.
Off grey plastic is M$'s Luna..

I'd say they're supposed to match the four buttons on the new iPods...

It's possible to go back to the old buttons and keep iTunes 4. You just have to manually edit the resources in ThemePark, copying the old resources over the new.

the old buttons are idiotic. Not only that visually they are harder on the eyes. This is one reasone apple has toned down some of the depth they add to images.

Talking about depth, did you see the new Apple Store "pills" that you click on to buy stuff. They have super deep drop shadows in color now. Weird considering that Apple seems to have toned down the depth of its app buttons.
