... I'm talking about one thing that makes Amazon the most popular destination for book purchasing, even if it's not the place where you can find the best deal - the numerous reviews written by the fellow readers. It'd be nice if this is added as a feature to the apple store in the future... Any thoughts on that?

I agree with what your saying, but lets face it, if it's a sense of community you want then take a trip to your local record shop

well it already has the 'users who bought this also bought....' feature. so i'm sure adding a review link wouldnt be such a big deal.

Well I think there's more than that - just ask the MacNN folks how things are done here (moderation and all that).

Forgive my ignorance, but would someone please post the link for sending comments to Apple (particularly regarding the music store)? I really want to see this takes off.

Oh while we're at it it's even better if Apple can offer a streamline process for local bands to sell their works in the store - something along the lines of mp3.com. How cool is that...

dude, just click on the 'home' icon in itunes4 and there's a link that says 'requests & feedback' towards the top left.

I think this is a good idea. One of the best things about being a Mac user is being a part of the Mac community. Having some interaction with others within the music store would be great.

It's only going to be a Mac thing for a a few (7+ months).

I like this idea. There are a few things they could do. Like when I buy the music, it could default to the online rating, when I double click on the song it could take me to the Apple Music store etc...

Just an idea...

I would love to see the ability for independent music labels to be able to get their stuff on here as well. Being that a contract was struck up with the "Big 5", I doubt that would happen. You don't want the little guy taking out the big one.

That's not to say that I, personally, wouldn't mind seeing that happen.
