OS X has decided that it doesn't like printing to my Laserjet 4000 in some instances. For example, if I try to add the printer via Rendezvous and print to it, it will go through the motions, but nothing is ever outputted from the printer.

If, however, I add the IP address of the printer to Print Center and print, everything works just fine.

This was working before, so I dunno what happened to make it flake out.

It works fine in OS9.

Any help?

The laserjet 4000 is not a Rendezvous ready printer. That is why it does not work. You must enter the IP manually or use appletalk.
