when I double clik my TextEdit Application, I can see the Icon of it on the Dock for just a second, then it disappears from the dock, I went to the Applications folder again and double clik on it again, and AGAIN I get the same situation over and over... Why its not working anymore?
do I have to use my restore software?
if I do that, I will lost all my stuff right?

we need a bit more information than that. Like what did you do with your computer between the time that it worked and it stopped.
and no restore will not delete everything. there is an option to "Archive and Install" witch puts your whole system in one big folder and then install a new system next to it.

Did you try just a simple restart of your computer?
Have you moved Textedit out of its default spot in the application folder?
What other programs are running?

no, I never move the textedit app from the apps folder, and no other programs are running except now, that I am using safari to talk with you guys, Here is what I do, before this happens:
I installed another HD, on my Dual867MDDG4, and then I make that HD OS 9 bootable, so I went to the OS X HD and try to eliminate the OS 9 system folder and OS 9 applications folder from it, just to have two different drives with two different OSs, I couldnt doit directly so I start up with the OS 9 Bootable HD and then eliminate the OS9 folders from the OSX HD without problems...
3 days past and everything was normal, until today that I tried to reed some textedit doc and it didnt worked.
Why is this happening?
How I fix this problem?

Search in your library for the text edit preference file. Put it in the trash and try launching text edit. If that doesn't work, I'd try logging out and back in. If it's still not launching try repairing the permissions with disk utility. If it still doesn't work try rebooting. You can try booting in single user mode (hold apple-s) and then run fsck - y when you get to the final prompt (this has become unecessary because the OS does it automatically on start up)
