Since Apple release the "upgrade" in 10.2 which prevented any Apple software from working with proxy-authenticated networks (eg, iTunes, Software Update), many of us have been unable to use the applications either at all, or only some parts of them.

I did hear, a long time ago, about a 3rd party product that would do the proxy authentication work allowing these applications to work fully. Does anybody know what this program is called or where I can get my hands on it?

Yay! Authoxy works! Suddenly I can use Apple's own software properly for the first time since 10.2 was released!

It's a shame that Apple can't make this work themselves, and that those of us on an proxy-authenticated network need a third party product just to make Apple's own bundled applications work.
