Way to sort Column View by Date Modified?

So annoying in alphabetical only, I often need to know the last doc or folder modified, and seem to only be able to achieve that in list.


Sorry if there's a simple answer I overlooked.

Nope. You just have to open a new window of the same folder in List view, or shift back and forth between Column and List.

Or you can download PathFinder, a Finder replacement which I believe does do this.

You can bet that this ability (and much more) will be in the Pather Finder. It's a very common request, and I expect Apple will find an elegant way of implementing it.
