I've been using my iMic pretty much solely for audio out to a set of speakers, and seems as if the 10,2,6 update somehow broke this feature of the iMic.The Sound System Preference sees the iMic as a viable sound out option, but when it's selected, no audio escapes the speakers despite the volume being turn all the way up everywhere it can be. Plugging the speakers directly into the (inferior-sounding) analog audio out works fine. Is anyone having the same problem? Is anyone using the iMic for audio out and also doing it under 10.2.6?

does input work with the iMic? I use the iMic with my iBook and I just installed the 10.2.6 update but haven't restarted yet. I will be pissed if this breaks the iMic AGAIN. 10.1.5 also didn't work with the iMic (fixed in 10.2).

i just got an iMic and have used it with 10.2.5 and 10.2.6 with no loss of audio.

i still have a problem where the sound coming through will be heavily distorted. it happens sometimes with system sounds and itunes music. usually a stop/start clears the problem. doesn't happen more than twice a day, still slightly annoying.
