After installing the 10.2.6 update, I find that whenever I try to do anything in the Finder, I get the spinning beachball for about a minute, then it tells me "The operation could not be completed. An unexpected error occured (error code -1712)"

This happens even when I just select an icon.

Anyone else with this problem?

10.2.6 flaked out my Finder and SystemUIServer. Start trashing prefs. I tried everything in my bag o' tricks, and it was futile so I just created a new account on my iBook.

Yeah, my SystemUIServer is gone too. (But it's happened before...)

I guess I'll just make a new account and delete the prefs from there.

Thanks.
