[yellow no.5]

I have a VCD with an mpg video on it that I'm trying to copy to my HD. The error I get is:

"The operation cannot be completed because some data cannot be read or written."

As far as I know, this is not encoded or anything--one of my buddies just made a VCD of a little movie we made. So, I'm not sure what the problem is. Anyone know anything?

Sounds like the file is either trying to be written to a bad sector on your HDD or that something wasn't burned correctly. Have your buddy burn another copy of the VCD and see what happens.

If that doesn't work, I'd run fsck on your drive..
