It seems that the matrix site has yet to be updated with an OS X compliant screensaver.... I've asked it before, I'll ask it again... Does anybody know where I can find a Matrix OS X screensaver? (I had to completely reinstal my system... all previous savers have been erased... sucks.

Look at versiontracker for an application called "redpill". There you have a nice Matrix screensaver!

I just downloaded RedPill, and while it's pretty, it's really not faithful to the movie. (The description even reads "alien code" -- it's not alien, it's from Earth! It's actually Courier roman text superimposed with Katakana Japanese script.*)
There was a set of screen savers for OS X that had been ported over from Linux, but I can't find them any more. They included a fantastic Matrix screen saver.

*Which means that in theory, making a top-notch Matrix screen saver should be easy on OS X, since the OS can do both Courier text and Katakana!

Here is one that is slightly better.
Matrix Screen Saver (and others)
BTW, the katakana characters in the Matrix are actually backwards so technically it's not actually an earth language either... (I know, pedantic!)
Also, this has been covered before (including by me!) here.

I might be wrong, but didn't the creator of redpill say that his matrix screensaver is about replicating the look of Matrix:Reloaded insted of the original movie?
