First time poster to your boards. Love the site!

Anyway, I woke up this morning and had a small issue with my Micronet Advantage 120GB harddrive. Now, usually I would say something went wrong with the drive itself, but it is not making any horrific noises and my system is acting like it is there, and functioning properly

The problem is, the drive does not show an icon on the desktop or in any of the save dialog/directory windows. I'm using the latest OS X.

Some strange occurances that make me think this is something wrong with my computer/OS and not the drive:

1. If I turn the drive off, I get the standard, "You've disconnected a drive...you could lose data...etc, etc"

2. When I am opening files through programs like Photoshop, the system spins the HD up and it makes the same noise/activity as if it were mounted

I guess my question is this. Is there some kind of FREE mounting software available that I can 'remount' the drive? I checked micronet's website and there is no such thing.And there is no specific driver for this drive.

Any suggestions?

/Applications/Utilities/Disk Utility

Select the missing drive/partition in the lefthand window. Then go to the menu:

Options -> Mount
