Just for kicks I'd love to have a nice greeting when I log into my computer. Something spoken a la Sal 9000 from 2010 or anything of that nature. Does anyone know of a program that'll allow me to do this and sound better than the one provided with OSX?

Thanks!

SAL 9000 - is that a supercomputer just for AppleScript?

Anyway - you can get a sound when you log-in by adding the sound file to your log-in items.

I don't know how to get better voice synthesis than built-in though.
