Here's a new one.

Any time I try to launch quicktime, it crashes and the log says something about qtReplaceDialogItem.

Any time I try to use any app that uses quicktime related stuff (preview mov in finder, iMovie, export PDF to png in Preview.app, etc) the app crashes.

I am using QT 6.2 and 10.2.6 on a Pismo.

I have removed all QT stuff and re-installed the 6.2 package and get the same behavior.

Any clue on a fix would be greatly appreciated.
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

If you have another account on your computer, try it using that and see if the behavior continues. If it does, it isn't something user specific and not a bad plist file. Whenever I have a software problem, I always try it under another user before reinstalling.
