I have a new 900mhz iBook running 10.2.4, which update shall i go with and what is the difference between the 81mb download and the 6mb download?

the 6mb file only updates 10.2.5 to 10.2.6....the larger 81mb file is a "combo" updater which will update any 10.2.x to 10.2.6.
if you're running 10.2.4 then you'll need to either go with the 10.2.5 update and then the 10.2.6 update, or just get the big 81mb combo and use that.

With the recent update problems, its best to download the combined updater and just install from that. Oh, and don't forget to repair permissions after restarting.
