Ok
well ive used fink up until now
and its pretty cool
but i was wondering if anyone has used darwinports?
i reinstalled my osx, and started new
and was just about to install fink, and thought hmm what about darwinports

so now im just gonna research it a bit, any pros or cons to darwinports over fink?

they both have graphical installers, but i never really liked using the fink commander

so anyone else have any experience to share?

Darwinports will work with pure darwin systems. Some maintainers maintains the same packages on both build systems.
Darwinports will be faster up to date than fink, because darwin ports is mostly done by people working at Apple. Darwin port is more in the BSD tradition.

On the other hand fink is fairly esay to use. Is used by a larger crowd, so should have less bugs because more people use it and test it.
