I have a Tibook 667 which I use a second monitor with. A strange thing is happening.... my background on the powerbook has an area from the dock to about the middle of the screen (running vertically about 1.5" wide) which looks ghosted.

Has anybody seen this?

How do I fix?

I have tried deleting pref files and the like with no luck..
Forget the curveball Rickey, give 'im the heater.

Is it just with ceratin wallpapers or does this happen to any wallpaper you select? You might want to run some kind of program to check on your screen's pixel. Try Pixinator. Also, try the "Apple Hardware Test" CD that came with your computer. I think it'll check to see if the problem is related to the physical component of the screen. Good luck.
