I am wondering if anyone knows how to transfer the Outlook 2000 address book becuase it is different than Outlook Express. I cannot drag and drop the files the way outlook express can. I am wondering what kind of file OS X address book or entourage reads... because I can export to a tab separated or comma separated file. (don't think comma will work becuase there are commas in addresses).

I have install the exporter to do this tho, so I didn't want to do it if it won't work.

This is the last struggle with PC. And of course it is a total B*TCH!

thanks,

buy Move2Mac I think that is the easiest way to do this. I believe it transfers everything you need correctly.

i guess. If I were to do that, it would probably be easier/cheaper just to retype my 100 contacts.

Any other ideas?

Address Book uses the vCard format. Does Outlook 2000 export to that?

If not, try exporting to a tab-delimited file. Then open Entourage X with a new profile (no contacts) and import the address book. Then simply export as vCard or drag into Address Book.

Did that work?
