Okay, I did something wrong, and SMB sharing is no longer working on my iBook. I'm positive I scrweed something up, not knowing well enough what I'm doing. So all I would like to know -- so I can start using it again, and then maybe start fiddling with it from scratch -- is how to get the default SMB set-up working again. I have replaced my smb.conf file with the one from the template. I also do have some custom AFS settings in regards to home directories and whatnot (all done with SharePoints), though I don't know if that's what's causing the problem.

Am I missing another config file? What else is needed to get SMB sharing back to its installed state without actually reinstalling OS X?

Thanks.
