I just read somewhere that openOffice 1.1 beta 2 was released. Does anyone know if it works on MacOSX too? And now to make it work?

[I saw only linux and win packages and source code].

Far as I know, 1.0.1.3 final beta is the most recent Darwin release - requires X11.

It works... I would be more inclined to use it if it had an outline mode.

you could try compiling it on your own if you have the time and patince to do it is a MAJOR task.

as far as i know the goal of th OOo folks is to release 1.1 without x11 dependencies so expect a LONG wait. (i may be incorrect in this though but i am fairly sure i read it somewhere the other day)
