Well friday I left my mac runing before I left. Well I come in to work on monday and I see my mac is frozen (screen saver wont move)
so i power down the mac. Turn it back on, everything seems fine. But when I try to open these docs. (pdf,img,dmg,txt) they gime a error code 1000.
and I cant open them.
However if I rightclick and goto open with they open fine.
I can goto open with then other..., then select Always open with.
That one file opens fine all the time now, however another file with the same extension doesnt work gotta do the open with trick again.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this problem?

Try "Get info" --> "Open With"

then set the "Open With" app, then click "Change All.."

sometimes this actually works.

I dont see a change all option,
I see a always open with option which I already said that I checked earlyer and it still doesnt work with other files.
