has anyone had success using verizon phones using the future dial cables

i was wondering if anyone has had success using the future dial cables from radio shack to dial up using mac's, i have a verizon cell phone and the correct lgvx1 future dial cable and i have had no luck any help would be great.

Not sure if this will help you but Smith Micro has a new software product to link phones to Macs. Perhaps it includes the cable?
