update: just tried to delete this post as i realized it was in the wrong place but i get an error message telling me i dont have permission to delete my own post when i check the box and hit delete now...

Hi. I need an app (I don't think even acrobat does this!) that will allow me to take a folder of JPGs and convert them to a single multi-page PDF.

I was able to do it with Acrobat, actually, but it generated 50-70 meg PDFs, because you can't adjust the quality/size of the file without editing all the JPGs individually.

What I've been doing is making indesign documents where each page is a separate JPG, then exporting as PDF - this keeps the 20-30 page documents under 10 megs and still readable.

Any ideas on something that would do this?

Thanks!

Graphic converter will do a print folder command, then just have it save the output to a pdf.

Graphic converter should work fine.
In fact any program that can print
a JPEG will work.

If you wan't more control have a look
at ghost script (it is unix ps/pdf interpreter
) it works well under OS X and is Free.

You can get it through fink.

Preview does this too. Those nice freebies with the machine are very capable.
