Wait before you say this belongs in the pb forum...

i want to install Jaguar on a pb but the cd drive is broken.

Can I install the os from another networked computer?

You could mount the PowerBook on another Mac using FireWire Target Mode, then restart that Mac with the install cd and install it on the PowerBooks hard drive.

Thanks...so i just connect through fire wire...how do i mount the pb? menu>go>server?

to start up in target mode, hold down the "T" key when booting up the computer...
