When I run certain movies through DivX Doctor II I get odd error messages that result in my QuickTime movie being visually corrupt in areas or off synced sound. So I can edit the DivX movies in QuickTime that I rip from DVDs (for backup!!!). I'd like to be able to make certain rips fit onto CDs, and if I can't edit the files.. how can I make them fit w/o splitting it?? Thanks.

you could rerip them using forty-two, and use the "one disk" divx button. Editing a raw divx file (I believe) is not possible on a mac, without a lengthy process.
